We are a very small group of ladies who meet to paint (any media) on Monday mornings (10am - 12 noon) at the Stanpit Village Hall. We do not have an instructor and we all do our own thing so it is a very social group. We have a coffee break mid-morning and enjoy the view of the Marshes from the upper room at the Hall.
We would like to enlarge our group by about two others and invite anyone interested to contact Mary Matthews on 01202 773278 with a view to having a chat about joining and fees which are very reasonable. We look forward to hearing from you.
We meet on the first Thursday of every month 10am to 1pm.
We are a small friendly group of keen crafters, we enjoy making cards, mixed media and small home decor items, anything made with paper or card really!
Each month a project is provided which is optional, the charge for which is £5.00, this includes tea, coffee and biscuits.
If you bring your own crafty project to work on the charge is £4.00.
Experienced or newbie crafters are welcome.
We cover all types of embroidery, machine and hand and also mixed media and felting. The classes are for mixed abilities and experience and the students learn through a project based programme.
We are a small community choir at Stanpit Village Hall called THE FEEL GOOD SINGERS, on Monday evenings at 8pm until 10pm.
It's extremely friendly and informal, there are no auditions and we have tea and biscuits during our break, sometimes even cake.
In fact, it's more of a sing song really and because such strong friendships have been made over the years, it's also a chance to network and it's a bit of a life line for some.
We sing classic pop songs from all decades, from Elvis all the way to Adele.
There are no rules, if it feels good, we do it and that is why we are called The Feel Good Singers.
We have little social get togethers like cinema visits and parties and everyone looks out for each other.

"Revitalising Yoga" is taught by Elvira and takes place every Tuesday morning from 10:00 to 11:30am for a cost of £8 on a drop in basis or £6 per class if you book a monthly course paid in advance.
This is a restorative, healing style of yoga suitable for people with old injuries and general body complaints. It provides comfort and release from tension through gentle stretching movements that are linked to your breath, which triggers deep relaxation within the body. Perfect for the rejuvenation of the mind, "Revitalising Yoga" develops positive thinking and instigates a great sense of overall wellbeing.
The teacher is a highly experienced Yoga Elder who currently teaches at a number of venues throughout the New Forest and Christchurch area. You can see an example of this style of yoga at: www.revitalisingyoga.com and learn about Elvira at www.newforestyoga.com.
90 minutes of yoga to suit your own needs, physically, mentally and spiritually. Gill welcomes Yoga students of all ages [adults] and abilities. Different breathing and relaxation techniques will be used in harmony with postures to include: standing, sitting, lying, forward and back bend and twisting. The whole body will then be exercised. Cost is £45.50 for 6 weeks or £10 per session - pay as you go. If you bring a friend along you both have the first session free when you pay for the 6 weeks. If you miss a class you can always make it up with one of my classes if you wish.
More information can be found at www.thehealingplace.co.uk

Offers companionship and friendship to members. Provides a programme of interesting and informative talks. Supports a chosen Charity each year. Visitors always welcome.
The Mudeford RNLI Guild (the fund-raising part of the RNLI) meet on the first Wednesday each month at 2 p.m. - normally meetings last about an hour and a half including a break for tea and a chat, in order to plan our forthcoming events.
We hold a mix of fund-raising and social events - aiming for one or the other every month.
We also regularly run Souvenir and Book Stalls on Mudeford Quay throughout the summer.
New members are always welcome. For details of these and any other queries please contact the Secretary, Sue Collins on 01202 425966 or petersue12@btinternet.com
Sew with Nelly Bea offers a range of workshops and classes to help you get to know your sewing machine and enjoy creating some wonderful textiles products in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. All of the workshops are planned and resourced with very levels of ability in mind allowing you to work at your own pace, enjoy yourself and learn new skills. You are free to bring your own machine or use one of mine, all equipment is provided but sometimes I ask you to supply the fabric (everyone has individual taste!)
I am an experienced pattern cutter and seamstress, I have been stitching things together since I was a little girl making clothes for my dolls and 50 years later I still get a buzz from it. I have been teaching for 15 years and really look forward to sharing my passion and workshops with you.
